The problem

Many families depend on one person who knows the assets, passwords, advisors, bank relationships, insurance policies and unfinished decisions. If that person is suddenly unavailable, wealth turns into confusion.

The test

Ask whether the family can access information, decision authority and liquidity within 72 hours. If not, the structure is not yet operational.

Advisor lens

This is one of the easiest ways to open a serious conversation without sounding like a salesperson. It is practical, emotional and immediately relevant.

Questions to sit with

  • Who has the asset map?
  • Who can contact the professional team?
  • What liquidity can be accessed in the first 72 hours?
Thirty minute action

Build a 72 Hour File outline for one client family.
